Introducing our Staff!
Over the past 6 years Laura has held many different positions for the company. She is proud to finally call herself manager of Twisters gymnastics. She has a deep passion for organization and a love of office supplies. This past May, Laura graduated from Drew University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, behavioral science and public health. She plans on returning to school for her MBA in the future but not before spending an extended period of time working hard to keep this gymnastics program running smooth and exciting for all.
Nikki has been working at twisters for over 15 years. Before working here, she trained here as a competitive gymnast. She started off at level 5 and worked her way up to level 10 by the age of 15. After stopping competitive gymnastics, she began working as a birthday party instructor. She later became a class teacher and private instructor coach. About 8 years ago, she began managing the office and gym. She recently took some time off to have 2 children and has now returned a few days a week to help in the office and coach private lessons. Her love for gymnastics is so deep she could not say away from the gym!
Juan Carlos Osorio is from Colombia. Before coming to America he earned his master degree in education spent time as a professor in physical education. Juan Carlos was a gymnast for more than 20 years, and was a national champion many times in Columbia. He has been teaching for 15 years as a recreation gym teacher, team coach at many levels, teacher of clinics and director of camps.
Nicole has been a gymnastic instructor at Twister’s gymnastics for the past 14 years. She is highly qualified in teaching all levels of gymnastics and has experience working with children with disabilities and special needs. Nicole has a strong background in cheerleading and also coached a competitive squad for several years. In between coaching all these years, Nicole obtained her bachelor degree from the college of Saint Elizabeth. In her spare time Nicole enjoys working out and bowling in a league.
Arron has been a practitioner of parkour and tricking for over six years, and has traveled to many major cities in the US for parkour events. He began coaching boys and girl’s gymnastics, tumbling, and parkour 4 years ago. He is constantly researching new teaching methods and techniques and enjoys learning the ins and outs of the sport. Arron teaches classes as well as privates lessons on a very technical level. He loves working with his students and helping them to realized their potential and become successful. In his spare time he enjoys training parkour, tricking and gymnastics, as well as playing drums and writing music.
Hello everyone! This is Rebecca Foster. She has been working here at Twister’s gymnastics for nearly 12 years. She is very outgoing, focused, and determined to lead the children to be successful in gymnastics. Coaching gymnastics and cheerleading has always been a major part of her life, ever since she was a child and participated on girl’s gymnastics and cheerleading teams. She will be starting new classes this year for special needs children as well as tumbling groups for cheer teams. She loves motivating the kids at their own pace and is committed to helping them archive their goals. If you have any questions contact twisters...
Hanna is currently studying at CCM, as well as teaching the majority of our preschool classes. After she graduates this spring, she plans to attend William Patterson University in the fall. Hanna has been a gymnast since the age of two and still attends classes at Twisters gymnastics. She was a cheerleader all four years of high school and plains to continue through college. Hanna is a very dedicated coach, who takes price in seeing her students succeed. In her free time she enjoys running and like all girls, going to the beach.
Coach/ Party Staff
Nolan Bohorquez has been teaching gymnastics for two years full time and part time for seven. He previously worked as a rock climbing instructor and personal trainer for many years at the Randolph Climbing Center. His interested include nutrition, playing guitar, and mountain biking. Currently, he is splitting his time between coaching and preparing a virtual reality game room at Randolph gymnastics.
Saturday February 15th from 6:00-8:30pm we will be hosting our first open workout of 2014. Members and Non-members are welcome,
